Louis Palin Student File

Student file of Louis Palin, a member of the Flathead Nation, who entered the school on December 5, 1910, and ultimately departed on March 29, 1917. He did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains an outing record, financial transactions, a progress/conduct card, trade/position record cards, applications for enrollment, a medical/physical record, an outing evaluation, and letters/correspondence surrounding his time working at the Ford Motor Company, including a letter indicating he had finished his students' course at the factory. The file indicates Palin was living in Dixon, Montana in 1917.

Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, several documents in this student file seemed to relate to two other students, Isaac Brazeau and Pearl Bonser. Those documents have now been included with their files: NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 90_folder 4068 and NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 88_folder 4028, respectively.
