The file contains an application for enrollment, student information cards, financial transactions, medical and physical records, outing records, an outing evaluation, certificates of promotion, correspondence, and a federal financial aid form. According to the information provided, Jemison left from Norfolk, Virginia on a Merchant and Miners Transportation Steamship, which began to sink off the coast of Long Island. Jemison made if off the ship and was in Boston, Massachusetts in March 1918. The file also contains correspondence regarding a land dispute on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation.
