Joseph Tarbell Student File

Student file of Joseph Tarbell, a member of the Mohawk Nation, who entered the school on August 10, 1901 and ultimately departed on September 18, 1909. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, newspaper clippings, an application for enrollment, a medical/physical record, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, a former student response postcard, correspondence mainly related to the Ford Motor Works, and a report after leaving.

The file indicates Tarbell was playing professional baseball in the New York State league in Albany, New York in 1911, and was farming in Hogansburg, New York in 1914.

In school documentation Joseph Tarbell is also known as Joseph F. Tarbell and Sose.
