Joseph Payawesea Student File

Student file of Joseph Payawesea, a member of the Menominee Nation, who entered the school on November 6, 1880, and departed on June 17, 1884. The file contains a student information card, correspondence, a photograph, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving. The file indicates that Payawesea was living in Keshena, Wisconsin in 1900 and a farmer in Keshena, Wisconsin in 1910.

In school documentation Joseph Payawesea's name is also spelled Joseph Payawasea. He is also known as Joseph Paywaysea Jr.
