John Uyya Student File

Student file of John Uyya, a member of the Pueblo Nation, who entered the school on August 24, 1889 and ultimately departed on March 27, 1899. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, and a report after leaving indicating that Uyya was working as a farmer and rancher in Seama, New Mexico in 1913. Uyya also attended a school in Sante Fe, New Mexico from 1894 to 1895.

In school documentation John Uyya's name is also spelled John Uya, John U-y-a, and John S. Uyya.
