Henry Standing Elk Student File

Student file of Henry Standing Elk, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on September 21, 1910 and departed on September 5, 1913. The file contains a former student response postcard, trade/position record cards, a student information card, a medical/physical record, an application for enrollment, a progress/conduct card, a report after leaving, an outing record, financial transactions, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates that Standing Elk was farming in Ashland, Montana in 1914, and then planning to get married in 1915.

In school documentation Henry Standing Elk's name is also spelled Henry Standingelk.
