George Fairbanks Student File

Student file of George Fairbanks, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1910 and departed on June 16, 1913. The file contains a student information card, medical/physical records, applications for enrollment, a financial transaction, trade/position record cards, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, an outing evaluation, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates Fairbanks was awarded a prize for an essay on Home Building by the Commissioner of Indian Affairs and was living in Cass Lake, Minnesota and Chemawa, Oregon in 1913.
