Francis McMahon Student File

Student file of Francis McMahon, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on July 28, 1912, and departed on June 12, 1917. This file contains an application for enrollment, student information cards, progress reports, outing evaluations, a certificate of promotion, an outing record, financial transactions, a federal financial aid form, and correspondence. A letter from 1917 indicates that Francis McMahon worked all summer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and enlisted in the Second Minnesota Field Artillery as a band man, with the expectation of being stationed at Deming, New Mexico.

In school documentation Francis McMahon is also known as Frank McMahon.
