Frances E. Johnson Student File

Student file of Frances E. Johnson, a member of the Tuscarora Nation, who entered the school on October 22, 1909 and departed on June 30, 1911.The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, a progress/conduct card, a medical/physical record, former student response postcards, a returned student survey, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating. The file indicates that Johnson was a cashier in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1912 and a housewife in Philadelphia in 1918.

In school documentation Frances E. Johnson is also known as Frances Johnson. Her married name is Frances E. Brown (Mrs. Alonzo Brown).

Note: The file indicates that this student was referred to by her married name around 1913: Mrs. Alonzo Brown or Frances Brown. She had married fellow student Alonzo Brown.

Note: These documents were found filed at the U.S. National Archives in the same folder as documents related to Frank Johnson as well as Frances Johnson who was at the school from 1894 to 1896.
