Student file of Eugene Cheago, a member of the Pima Nation, who entered the school on February 25, 1895 and departed July 6, 1901. The file contains a student information card, letters/correspondence, former student response postcards, a report after leaving and a returned student survey. The file indicates Hayes was was a farmer in Salt River, Arizona in 1910 and a farmer in Sacaton, Arizona in 1913 and 1914.
Note: While at school this student was known as both Cheago and Chiago. After leaving the school, he seems to have consistently used the name Eugene Hayes or Eugene C. Hayes in his correspondence.
