Elizabeth Webster Student File

Student file of Elizabeth Webster, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on August 26, 1899 and graduated on June 3, 1909. According to a newspaper clipping, she returned to the school in 1912 to take a course in commercial work. The file contains a physical record, student information cards, an application for enrollment, a report after leaving, financial transactions, a progress/conduct card, newspaper clippings, a returned student survey showing that Elizabeth Webster graduated from Green Bay Business College, a former student response postcard, correspondence, an essay that Webster wrote as a senior. One letter indicates that Webster was appointed as assistant clerk at the Crow Agency in Montana.

Note: Although this file indicates that Webster reentered the school on September 7, 1906, other records show that she had first enrolled at Carlisle on August 26, 1899.
