Cornetta Welch Student File

Student file of Cornetta Welch, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on October 30, 1902 and departed on April 6, 1908. The file contains a student information card, a news clipping, an application for enrollment, correspondence, a returned student survey, a trade/position record card, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Welch was a carpenter in Wahhiyah, North Carolina in 1909, and was a carpenter and farmer in Swayney, North Carolina in 1910 and an Indian Assistant in Cherokee, North Carolina in 1911.
