Cora Battice Student File

Student file of Cora Battice, a member of the Sac & Fox Nation, who entered the school on August 30, 1906, graduated in 1915, and ultimately departed on June 6, 1916. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file includes correspondence, student information cards, progress/conduct card, financial transactions, a federal financial aid form, returned student surveys, former student response postcards, trade/position card, applications for enrollment, medical/physical records, and an outing record. The file indicates that Battice's trade was Indian art.

In school documentation Cora Battice's name is also spelled Cora Battise and Cora M. Battice. She is also known as Pe-ah-twa-taw.
