Student file of Charlotte Smith, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 4, 1915. No departure date is given. The file contains an application for enrollment, letters, an outing evaluation, discussion of financial transactions, an outing record, and student information cards. The file indicates that Charlotte planned to stay at the home of Eleanor T. Dillenback, her outing patron at the time, after the Indian school closed in 1918. She wanted to finish high school in Germantown, Pennsylvania and eventually work at the Chestnut Hill Hospital.
Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, a document in this file seemed to relate to a different student, Frank Abrams. That document has now been included with the Frank Abrams file: NARA_1327_b127_f5054.
