Ealy, Dr. Taylor F.

Dr. Ealy was a medical doctor, Presbyterian Minister and missionary. In July 1878, he and his wife moved to Zuni Pueblo, NM where they spent four years with the Zuni Indian tribe. In 1881, he became severely handicapped by throat complications in the Indian Territories, which forced the couple's return to Schellsburg, PA, where Dr. Ealy practiced medicine (with his father in 1884) for the remainder of his life.

Report on the Death of Taylor Ealy
July 13, 1883

Richard Henry Pratt reports on the death of Taylor Ealy, a member of the Pueblo Nation, while vacationing with Dr. T. F. Ealy in Schellsburg, Pennsylvania. Pratt notes that he instructed Dr. Ealy to have Taylor Ealy be buried in Schellsburg and to forward the bill to Carlisle.
