Student file of Thomas Carlisle, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1879, and departed on February 4, 1891.  The file contains student information cards, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving that indicates that he was working as a medical doctor in Watonga, Oklahoma, in 1910.

In school documentation Thomas Carlisle was also known as Tom Carlisle, Tom, Tom Turner, and Thomas Blackrobe.

Note: Carlisle was the father of student Nina Carlisle. 

 

Peter White Student File

Student file of Peter White, a member of the Mohawk Nation, who entered the school on August 10, 1901, and departed on July 2, 1902.  The file contains a student information card, a physical record, a progress report, and a report after leaving indicating that White was working as a laborer in Massena Springs, New York in 1911.

In school documentation Peter White is also known as Tier.

 

Robert Burns Student File

Student file of Robert Burns, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on September 6, 1880, and departed on June 21, 1881. The file contains a student information card, a newspaper clipping, and a report after leaving that indicates that he was married to former student Nellie Morrison and working as a lease clerk in Darlington, Oklahoma, in 1910.

In school documentation Robert Burns is also known as Bob.

 

James Strike Axe Student File

Student file of James Strike Axe, a member of the Osage Nation, who entered the school on October 22, 1910 and departed on  November 6, 1911. The file contains a student information card, a medical/physical record, a former student response postcard, trade/position record cards, a progress/conduct card, financial transactions, correspondence, an outing record, and a report after leaving indicating that Strike Axe was a student in Pawhuska, Oklahoma in 1914 and was living in Pawhuska, Oklahoma in 1917.

Oscar Bull Bear Student File

Student file of Oscar Bull Bear, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1879, and ultimately departed on September 15, 1885.  The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered.  The file contains student information cards, correspondence, and a report after leaving that indicates that he was working as a farmer in Clinton, Oklahoma, in 1910.

In school documentation Oscar Bull Bear is also known as Oscar.

 

Richard Wallace Student File

Student file of Richard Wallace, a member of the Crow Nation, who entered the school on November 17, 1883, and departed on July 8, 1889.  The file contains a student information card, a newspaper clipping, and a report after leaving indicating that he was working as a farmer for the Crow Agency in Montana in 1915.

In school documentation Richard Wallace is also known as Dick Wallace and Dick Masstersheela.

 

Alfred Brown (Na'koya'ta) Student File

Student file of Alfred Brown, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1879, and departed on April 3, 1883.  The file contains a student information card, a former student response postcard, a returned student survey, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating that he was living in Oklahoma between 1910 and 1913, working as an interpreter and evangelist.

In school documentation Alfred Brown is also known as Alfred and Na'koya'ta.

Richard Thompson Student File
