Student information card of Duke, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1879 and is believed to have departed in late December 1881. (Although this card shows a departure date of September 3, 1881, a letter from mid-December indicates that he was still at the school at that time, but that his health was poor and permission was sought to send him home.)
In school documentation Duke is also known as Frog and Knaska.
