Student file of Nana Saunooke, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who enter the school on September 26, 1907, graduated in 1911, and ultimately departed on December 16, 1912. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, an outing evaluation, correspondence, an application for enrollment, financial transactions, news clippings, medical/physical records, photographs, a report after leaving, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, and a returned student survey. The file indicates that Saunooke was trying to get a job as a teacher at the Chilocco Indian School in 1912, but was having some difficulty. The last record shows her doing housework in Brenton, New Jersey in 1914.
