Mitchell Herne Student File

Student file of Mitchell Herne, a member of the Mohawk Nation, who entered the school on October 30, 1906, and ultimately departed on May 19, 1913. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, applications for enrollment, a physical record, a returned student survey, an outing record, correspondence, a financial transaction, and a report after leaving indicating Herne was in school in Hogansburg, New York in 1910.

In school documentation Mitchell Herne's name is also spelled Mitchel Herne. He is also known as Mitchell Herring (also spelled Mitchel Herring) and Mitchell Henner.
