National Archives, from collections of Carlisle Indian School materials housed at various archival repositories, and from a variety of published sources. Inscription on back reads, "to Viola Cooper, Nikifer Shouchuk. Remember your friend, I alway remember you, Sept. 10, 1905."
Shoushick attended the school from 1901 until 1904. This photo must have been given to Cooper after his departure.
