Student information cards of Julia, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1879 and ultimately departed on June 14, 1887. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered.
In school documentation Julia Good Voice is also known as White Woman and Wah-she-chu-we. Her married name is Julia Iron Eagle Feather (Mrs. Ralph Iron Eagle Feather) or Julia Eagle Feather.
Note: Julia appears to have been commonly known as Julia Good Voice, although that name does not appear here. It is under that name that she was listed in the caption for the photo of the first female students. It was also under this name that she was identified as the wife of fellow student Ralph Iron Eagle Feather. She and her husband returned to the school on October 10, 1886 accompanied by their 3 year old daughter, Lydia Biddle Iron Eagle Feather. Julia's reenrollment was documented in cards under her married name, Julia Iron Eagle Feather.
