Identification of the chief is based on comparison with CCHS PA-CH2-005c. He appears to have visited the school in 1891 and 1895.

Cameo photographs of seventeen Sioux chiefs, all of whom visited the school in mid-February 1891 and presumably had these portrait photos taken by John N. Choate.
