Richard Hinman Student File

Student file of Richard Hinman, a member of the Ponca Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1905 and departed on June 29, 1910. The file contains a student information card, a progress/conduct card, trade/position record cards, a medical/physical record, an outing record, and a report after leaving. The file also contains correspondence between Richard Hinman and the school between 1910 and 1918 about financial matters, his life after school, and concerns about his younger sister who was a student at the school during that time.

The file indicates Hinman was a farmer in White Eagle, Oklahoma in 1910 and 1915 and was a member of the 142 Infantry Co. E. stationed at Camp Bowie in Fort Worth, Texas in 1918.
