The file indicates that Cornelius was working as a shoemaker and harness maker at the Indian School in Mount Pleasant, Michigan in 1910 and 1911, farming in West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1912 and living in West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1913 and 1914.
