Elsie Valley Student File

Student file of Elsie Valley, a member of the Shoshone Nation, who entered the school on December 17, 1900 and departed on October 23, 1907. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, correspondence, a news clipping, and a report after leaving indicating she was a housewife in Winnebago, Nebraska in 1913.

In school documentation Elsie Valley's name is also spelled Elssie Valley, Essie Valley, Elsie L. Valley, and Elsie T. Valley. Her married name is Elsie Valley Brown (Mrs. George Brown or Mrs. George W. Brown Jr.).
