Chauncey Powlas Student File [entered 1904]

Student file of Chauncey Powlas, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on August 13, 1904 and ultimately departed on July 7, 1913. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, medical/physical records, a former student response postcard, a financial transaction, an application for enrollment, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, a report after leaving, and correspondence. The file indicates that Powlas was living in West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1913, farming in West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1914, and was a soldier stationed at Camp Merrit, New Jersey in 1918.

In school documentation Chauncey Powlas' name is also spelled Chauncy Powless and Chauncey Powless.
