Alfred Brown (Na'koya'ta) Student File

Student file of Alfred Brown, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1879, and departed on April 3, 1883.  The file contains a student information card, a former student response postcard, a returned student survey, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating that he was living in Oklahoma between 1910 and 1913, working as an interpreter and evangelist.

In school documentation Alfred Brown is also known as Alfred and Na'koya'ta.

Note: the student referenced here under the name Henry Sweet Medicine is also known as William Sweet Medicine.
