The first page opened with a poem, "The Minutes," followed by Marianna Burgess' letter "From California," to the Man-on-the-Band-Stand describing idyllic weather compared to what she's hearing of blizzard conditions at the school. The second page began with an account of the visit and talk by Mr. Kanzo Uchumiura, a Japanese student visiting the school who speculated that Indians and Japanese people shared similar origins. The monthly sociable was held with games, singing and a relay race using the Indian clubs and a subscriber asked about the identity of Man-on-the-Band-Stand, but the answer was not forthcoming. Page three featured many small news items including reports about the availability of photographs of the "Apache babies," speculation about the meaning of the initials "P.I." for that Society, Outing and visitor news and a piece entitled, "Healthy Bodies" warning of the repercussions of using stimulants after an accident. Page four began with a "Home Letter" from Luther Kuhns followed by "A Geographical Puzzle," and ended with the weekly Enigma.
