The file indicates Monhart attended Huntingdon Reformatory in 1910 working as a farmhand in Rocky Ford, Colorado in 1910, working at the American Beat Sugar Factory at Rocky Ford, Colorado in 1911, as a U.S. Mail Carrier in Etna Mills, California in 1913, and living in Gilta, California in 1914.
In school documentation John Monhart is also known as John A. Monhart.
Note: Although documentation in his file lists John Monhart as Klamath, a researcher has indicated that he is actually Shasta.
