Page two gave news from the Chemawa and Genoa Indian Schools, and "A Nice Pocket Book for the Best," asking for wish lists from the trade departments. Next came "Married," a notice of the marriage of Andrew Tasso to Mary North (Arapaho) at the Seger Colony in Indian Territory. There was news from Luther Standing Bear (Sioux) and Arthur Two Strike (Sioux) from the Rosebud Agency, Cyrus Dixon (Pueblo) and John Chaves (Pueblo) in Albuquerque and Hubbel Big Horse (Cheyenne) and Sumner Riggs (Cheyenne) at the Cheyenne Agency, I.T.
Page three featured the activities of students, staff and visitors including Capt. Abraham Bassford of Hartsdale, New York, with whom Boise Bassford (Paiute) lived for years before attending Carlisle. The page ended with two articles encouraging more sociability and thrift. Page four included the "Question Box" asking how many tribes were represented at Carlisle, followed by "The Beer Glass" printed in the shape of a beer stein, urging temperance that was followed by the "Puzzle Corner," with a "Square Word" puzzle and the weekly "Enigma."
