National Archives, from collections of Carlisle Indian School materials housed at various archival repositories, and from a variety of published sources. Records show twenty male students from the Omaha nation arriving at this time. It is possible that the other ten are the sitters in another image from the National Anthropological Archives (NAA_74310; Photo Lot 81-12 06908100).
