A group of twenty-nine male students and eight female students posed in front of one of the school buildings, identified as "'Apache Prisoners' as they arrived at the Indian Industrial School, Carlisle, Pa., from Fort Marion, Florida. Nov. 4/1886." There are three white men standing on the porch behind the group. The one in the center is Richard Henry Pratt.
