Pratt specifically asks for the office to send letters to encourage agents at various agencies to help secure students. Pratt further notes that he is sending Marianna Burgess and Kate Irvine to New Mexico with the returning students to gather a party of students, including girls. Pratt ends by commenting that he is sending Alfred John Standing to various points in Michigan and other parts of the North to gather students.
