This document shows a list of pupils who went home on leave and the corresponding cost for their railroad fare.
In Inspector Linnen's supplemental report for the 1914 Congressional investigation at Carlisle, this document is labelled Exhibit F. According to Linnen's report there should be one other receipt of this kind, but no others are in the investigation files. Linnen submitted this document as evidence because he believed that Superintendent Friedman was charging the government for the railroad fares that students had already paid for out of their own funds.
