Resignation of Assistant Matron Anna Grove

Assistant Matron Anna C. Grove resigns from her position to take care of her ill mother. Superintendent William A. Mercer forwards Grove's resignation to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs and recommends that Assistant Matron Estelle M. Armstrong be promoted. Mercer also requests that an eligible individual from the Civil Service register fill the vacancy from Armstrong's promotion.

Acting Commissioner C. F. Larrabee grants all of Mercer's requests.
