Lee, the Indian Agent at the Mackinac Agency requesting to send Chippewa students to Carlisle if there is room and what would the terms and conditions be of admission. Pratt notes that the Chippewa are one of the few Nations east of the Rocky Mountains that are not represented at Carlisle.
