Date
April 15, 1887

Richard Henry Pratt informs the Office of Indian Affairs that the telegraph and post office address is Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Pratt also notes that the most direct railroad routes are the Pennsylvania and Reading line to Harrisburg and then the Cumberland Valley Railroad to Carlisle when coming from the North, East, and West. When coming from the South the most direct line is the Shenandoah Valley Railroad connecting with the Cumberland Valley Railroad. Pratt concludes by noting the Gettysburg Junction is the station for the School.
