Vincent Natalish (Nah-tail-eh) Student File

Student file of Vincent Natalish, a member of the Apache Nation, who entered the school on April 30, 1887, graduated in 1899,and departed on March 11, 1899. The file contains a trade/position record, newspaper clippings, a former student response postcard, a student information card, a returned student survey, correspondence about his son's enrollment at Carlisle, and a report after leaving indicating. The file indicates Natalish was working as an engineer in New York, New York in 1907, as a civil engineer in New York, New York in 1910, Supervisor of Indian Schools in New York City in 1914, and was living in New York, New York in 1915 and 1918.

In school documentation Vincent Natalish's name is also spelled Vincent Nat-tail-et, Vincent Nahtailsh, Vincent V. Natalish, Vincent Nah-tail-eh, V. Natalish, and Vincent Matalish. He is also known as Nat-tail-eh.
