Victor Johnson Student Information Card

Victor Johnson Student Information Card

Student information card of Victor Johnson, a member of the Dalles Nation, who entered the school on November 18, 1901 and departed on May 29, 1906. The information card indicates that Johnson graduated in 1904, studied tinning, and was living in Taconia, Washington in 1913.

Note: A descendant of Victor Johnson has indicated that his mother was Chinook, but that after her husband (Victor's father, who was white) died, she remarried and moved to The Dalles, which is why this card indicates that as Victor's tribe. Following Victor's marriage to Amelia Ballew, he was permitted to register as a member of the Lummi Nation.
