Stansill Powell Student File

Student file of Stansill Powell, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on September 17, 1899 and ultimately departed on March 20, 1913. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains trade/position record cards, student information cards, applications for enrollment, an outing record, a progress/conduct card, and a former student response postcard that indicates Powell was a farmer in Swayney, North Carolina in 1912.

In school documentation Stansill Powell's name is also spelled Stancill Powell, Stansill Powel, and Stansil Powell. He is also known as Stanley Powell.
