Solomon Bearlouse (Bear Walking) Student File

Student file of Solomon Bearlouse, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on December 10, 1899 and departed on June 27, 1905. The file contains student information card, former student response postcards, correspondence, a returned student survey, a newspaper clipping, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Bearlouse worked as an assistant farmer and government employee in Watonga, Oklahoma from 1910 to 1913 and was a farmer and government employee in Watonga, Oklahoma from 1913 to 1915.

In school documentation Solomon Bearlouse's name is also spelled Solomon Bear Louse. He is also known as Solomon Bearlo, Bear Walking, and Walking Bear.
