Nellie Eagle Child Student File

Student file of Nellie Eagle Child (here Nellie Eagle), a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on February 27, 1892 and departed on June 4, 1895. The file contains a trade/position record card and a report after leaving indicating that Eagle Child was a housewife in Porcupine, South Dakota in 1910.

In school documentation Nellie Eagle Child's name is also spelled Nellie Eaglechild. She is also known as Nellie Eagle, Nellie D. Eagle, and Waum li hoksi cala (also spelled Wanmlihokiscala). Her married name is Nellie Blunt (Mrs. John Blunt).
