Student file of Melissa Cornelius, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on August 28, 1897, and ultimately departed on June 30, 1907. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a news clipping, an application for enrollment, a report after leaving, and a former student response postcard indicating that in 1913 she was living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The file also contains correspondence between Melissa and the school, and Melissa and her family members. A number of the letters discuss her purchasing a ticket for a football game at the school, while in others she inquires about her sister's health.
