Louis Eagle Dog (Big Boy) Student File

Student file of Louis Eagle Dog, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1879, and ultimately departed on June 14, 1887. The file contains a student information card and a report after leaving that indicates Eagle Dog was working as a farmer in South Dakota in 1910.

In school documentation Louis Eagle Dog's name is also spelled Lewis Eagle Dog and Lewis Eagledog. He is also known as Big Boy and Ho-she-lah-che-kah-tah.
