Juan Apachese Student File

Student file of Juan Apachese, a member of the Pima Nation, who entered the school on June 21, 1896 and departed on October 17, 1903. The file contains a student information card, a report after leaving, a returned student survey, and a former student response postcard. The file indicates Apachose attended the Riverside Indian School after leaving Carlisle and was working as a farmer in Sacaton, Arizona in 1910 and 1914.

In school documentation Juan Apachese's name is also spelled Juan Apachoas, Juan Apachose, and Juan E. Apachose, but family have indicated that Apachese is the correct spelling.
