The file contains correspondence, a student information card, a returned student survey, former student response postcards, and a report after leaving indicating she was a housewife in Steamburg, New York in 1913.

A researcher contacting the Carlisle Indian School Digital Resource Center noted that Josephine White was also known by the name Josephine Halfwhite in censuses when unmarried, and was the daughter of Robert Sr. and Eliza Halfwhite.
