The file indicates Luther was working for a railroad company in Gallup, New Mexico in 1911, running blacksmith and carpenter shop in Casa Blanca, New Mexico in 1912, and working for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Co. in Riverbank, California in 1913.
