Student file of James Holy Eagle, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 20, 1913 and ultimately departed on September 26, 1917. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The files contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, financial transactions, a trade record, an outing record and letters. The file indicates that after graduating James went on to work as a disciplinarian and band leader at the Greenville School in California.
In school documentation James Holy Eagle's name is also spelled James Hollyeagle, James Holyeagle, and James H. Eagle.
