James Compton Student File

Student file of James Compton, a member of the Shoshone Nation, who entered the school September 3, 1898 and ultimately departed on October 7, 1906. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, news clippings, and a report after leaving that indicates Compton was working as a farmer in Ross Fork, Idaho in 1911.

In school documentation James Compton is also known as Jimmie Compton.
