James Blue Bird Student File

Student file of James Blue Bird, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on March 1, 1910 and departed on July 14, 1910. The file indicates Blue Bird was working with the 101 Ranch in Oklahoma in 1911, farming in Kyle, South Dakota in 1913 and 1915, and living in Kyle, South Dakota in 1917.

In school documentation James Blue Bird's name is also spelled James Bluebird. He is also known as Jimmie Bluebird, Jimmie Blue Bird, and James Red-bird.
